Codul este scris \u00een C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv2.    <\/p>\n<p>Biblioteca ofer\u0103 implement\u0103ri de \u00eenalt\u0103 performan\u021b\u0103 ale algoritmilor criptografici moderni, inclusiv ChaCha20, Curve25519, NTRU, RSA, Blake2b, TLS 1.0-1.3 \u0219i DTLS 1.2, care, conform dezvoltatorilor, sunt de 20 de ori mai compacte dec\u00e2t implement\u0103rile din OpenSSL. Se furnizeaz\u0103 at\u00e2t o interfa\u021b\u0103 API simplificat\u0103, c\u00e2t \u0219i un strat de compatibilitate cu API-ul OpenSSL. Exist\u0103 suport pentru OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) \u0219i CRL (Certificate Revocation List) pentru verificarea revoc\u0103rii certificatelor.    <\/p>\n<p>Nout\u0103\u021bi principale \u00een wolfSSL 5.0.0:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat suport pentru platforme: IoT-Safe (cu suport pentru TLS), SE050 (cu suport pentru RNG, SHA, AES, ECC \u0219i ED25519) \u0219i Renesas TSIP 1.13 (pentru microcontrolerele RX72N).\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat suport pentru algoritmi de criptografie post-cuantic\u0103, rezisten\u021bi la atacurile pe computere cuantice: grupurile NIST Round 3 KEM pentru TLS 1.3 \u0219i grupuri hibride NIST ECC bazate pe proiectul OQS (Open Quantum Safe, liboqs). Grupurile rezistente la atacuri pe computere cuantice au fost, de asemenea, ad\u0103ugate \u00een stratul de compatibilitate. De asemenea, procesa\u0219ii de \u00eentrerupere au fost accelera\u021bi prin instruc\u021biuni vectoriale. A fost ad\u0103ugat suportul pentru subsistemul de verificare a modulelor prin semn\u0103turi digitale. A fost asigurat\u0103 posibilitatea de a construi motorul criptografic \u00eencorporat wolfCrypt \u00een modul &#171;&#8212;enable-linuxkm-pie&#187; (independent de pozi\u021bie).
