Codul proiectului este scris \u00een limbajul C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba MIT.    <\/p>\n<p>Spre deosebire de solu\u021bia ini\u021bial propus\u0103 \u00een xrdesktop, wxrd ofer\u0103 un compozitor specializat <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/server\/\"   title=\"serverul\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">serverul<\/a> pentru medii de realitate virtual\u0103, \u00een loc de adaptarea sistemelor existente de gestionare a ferestrelor \u0219i shell-uri desktop pentru VR (proiectul xrdesktop furnizeaz\u0103 patch-uri separate pentru kwin \u0219i GNOME Shell, care necesit\u0103 adaptare pentru fiecare nou\u0103 versiune a acestor componente). Utilizarea wxrd permite nu doar oglindirea con\u021binutului desktopului 2D existent, care este afi\u0219at \u0219i pe un monitor obi\u0219nuit, ci \u0219i procesarea separat\u0103 a ferestrelor, special lansate pentru desktopul 3D (adic\u0103, nu se ofer\u0103 acces din casc\u0103 VR la desktopul utilizat pe sistemul actual, ci se formeaz\u0103 un mediu separat pentru casc\u0103 VR).         <center><div class=\"youtube-placeholder\" data-id=\"IVBnD8DsjdM\" onclick=\"loadVideo(this)\">\r\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/IVBnD8DsjdM\/hqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"Reda\u021bi video\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" style=\"width:100%;height:auto;\">\r\n        <div class=\"play-button\"><\/div>\r\n    <\/div><\/center>      <\/p>\n<p>Spre deosebire de proiectele asem\u0103n\u0103toare Simula VR, Stardust, Motorcar \u0219i Safespaces, serverul compus wxrd a fost creat av\u00e2nd \u00een vedere utilizarea unui num\u0103r minim de dependen\u021be \u0219i un consum redus de resurse. Wxrd permite, de asemenea, lucrul nu doar cu aplica\u021bii bazate pe protocolul Wayland, ci \u0219i posibilitatea de a rula aplica\u021bii X11 prin intermediul serverului DDX xwayland.      <\/p>\n<p>Deoarece extensia protocolului Wayland pentru tastaturi virtuale este \u00een stadiul de dezvoltare, introducerea datelor \u00een wxrd este realizat\u0103 printr-un sistem de emulare a introducerii de tip tastatur\u0103, care transmite toate simbolurile unicode, inclusiv emoji, din tastatura virtual\u0103 prezentat\u0103 \u00een xrdesktop.
