Pe 31 ianuarie, con\u021binutul asociat cu ramura CentOS 8 va fi eliminat de pe oglinzi \u0219i mutat \u00een arhiva vault.centos.org.    <\/p>\n<p>CentOS Stream este pozi\u021bionat ca un proiect upstream pentru RHEL, oferind participan\u021bilor externi posibilitatea de a controla preg\u0103tirea pachetelor pentru RHEL, de a propune modific\u0103ri \u0219i de a influen\u021ba deciziile acceptate. \u00cen trecut, ca baz\u0103 pentru o nou\u0103 ramur\u0103 RHEL se utiliza un snapshot dintr-una dintre versiunile Fedora, care era dezvoltat \u0219i stabilizat \u00een spatele u\u0219ilor \u00eenchise, f\u0103r\u0103 posibilitatea de a controla procesul de dezvoltare \u0219i deciziile luate. \u00cen procesul de dezvoltare a RHEL 9, bazat pe snapshot-ul Fedora 34 \u0219i cu participarea comunit\u0103\u021bii, a fost creat\u0103 ramura CentOS Stream 9, unde se desf\u0103\u0219oar\u0103 preg\u0103tirea \u0219i se formeaz\u0103 baza pentru o nou\u0103 ramur\u0103 semnificativ\u0103 RHEL.     <\/p>\n<p>Pentru CentOS Stream sunt publicate acelea\u0219i actualiz\u0103ri care sunt preg\u0103tite pentru viitorul release intermediar RHEL, iar obiectivul principal al dezvoltatorilor este de a atinge un nivel de stabilitate a CentOS Stream identic cu cel al RHEL. \u00cenainte ca un pachet s\u0103 ajung\u0103 \u00een CentOS Stream, acesta trece prin diferite sisteme de testare automat\u0103 \u0219i manual\u0103, fiind publicat doar dac\u0103 nivelul s\u0103u de stabilitate corespunde standardelor de calitate pentru pachetele gata de publicare \u00een RHEL. \u00cen acela\u0219i timp cu CentOS Stream, actualiz\u0103rile preg\u0103tite sunt incluse \u00een build-urile nocturne RHEL.     <\/p>\n<p>Utilizatorii sunt sf\u0103tui\u021bi s\u0103 migreze la CentOS Stream 8, instal\u00e2nd pachetul centos-release-stream (\u201ednf install centos-release-stream\u201d) \u0219i execut\u00e2nd comanda \u201ednf update\u201d.
