Un alt defect de securitate a fost identificat \u00een subsystemul eBPF (CVE lips\u0103), la fel ca problema de ieri care permite unui utilizator local f\u0103r\u0103 privilegii s\u0103 execute cod la nivelul nucleului Linux. Problema apare \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu nucleul Linux 5.8 \u0219i r\u0103m\u00e2ne nerezolvat\u0103 \u00een prezent. Un exploit func\u021bional este a\u0219teptat s\u0103 fie publicat pe 18 ianuarie. <\/p>\n

O nou\u0103 vulnerabilitate este cauzat\u0103 de verificarea incorect\u0103 a programelor eBPF transmise pentru executare. \u00cen special, verificatorul eBPF nu a restric\u021bionat corect anumite tipuri de poinre *_OR_NULL, ceea ce a oferit posibilitatea manipul\u0103rii pointerelor din programele eBPF \u0219i la ob\u021binerea unor privilegii sporite. Pentru a bloca exploatarea vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bii, se recomand\u0103 interzicerea execut\u0103rii programelor BPF de c\u0103tre utilizatori neprivilegia\u021bi folosind comanda «sysctl -w kernel.unprivileged_bpf_disabled=1».
