Proiectul LLVM a anun\u021bat trecerea de la sistemul de mesagerie prin e-mail la site-ul llvm.discourse.group bazat pe platforma Discourse pentru comunicarea dezvoltatorilor \u0219i publicarea anun\u021burilor. P\u00e2n\u0103 pe 20 ianuarie, toate arhivele discu\u021biilor anterioare vor fi transferate pe noua platform\u0103. Func\u021bionarea listelor de diseminare va fi transformat\u0103 \u00eentr-un mod de citire \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu 1 februarie. Trecerea va facilita comunicarea, f\u0103c\u00e2nd-o mai simpl\u0103 \u0219i mai familiar\u0103 pentru \u00eencep\u0103tori, va structura discu\u021biile \u00een llvm-dev, va organiza o moderare complet\u0103 \u0219i va filtra spamul. Platforma Discourse ofer\u0103 un sistem de discu\u021bii liniare, propus ca \u00eenlocuitor pentru listele de diseminare, forumuri web \u0219i chat-uri. Suport\u0103 \u00eemp\u0103r\u021birea temelor pe baza etichetelor, trimiterea de notific\u0103ri la apari\u021bia de r\u0103spunsuri la mesaje, actualizarea listei de mesaje \u00een teme \u00een timp real, \u00eenc\u0103rcarea dinamic\u0103 a con\u021binutului pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce cite\u0219ti, posibilitatea de a te abona la sec\u021biuni de interes \u0219i de a trimite r\u0103spunsuri prin e-mail. Sistemul este scris \u00een limbajul Ruby folosind cadrul Ruby on Rails \u0219i biblioteca Ember.js (datele sunt stocate \u00een baza de date PostgreSQL, cache-ul rapid este p\u0103strat \u00een Redis).
