Rezultatul poate fi salvat at\u00e2t ca text simplu, c\u00e2t \u0219i \u00een formate HTML (hOCR), ALTO (XML), PDF \u0219i TSV. Ini\u021bial, sistemul a fost creat \u00eentre 1985 \u0219i 1995 \u00een laboratorul companiei Hewlett Packard, iar \u00een 2005 codul a fost deschis sub licen\u021ba Apache \u0219i a fost ulterior dezvoltat cu participarea angaja\u021bilor companiei Google. Codurile surs\u0103 ale proiectului sunt distribuite sub licen\u021ba Apache 2.0.      <\/p>\n<p> Tesseract include o utilitate de consol\u0103 \u0219i biblioteca libtesseract pentru integrarea func\u021biilor de recunoa\u0219tere a textului \u00een alte aplica\u021bii. Printre interfe\u021bele GUI ter\u021b\u0103 parte care suport\u0103 Tesseract se num\u0103r\u0103 gImageReader, VietOCR \u0219i YAGF. Ofer\u0103 dou\u0103 motoare de recunoa\u0219tere: clasic, care recunoa\u0219te textul la nivel de \u0219ablon pentru caractere individuale, \u0219i noul, bazat pe aplicarea unui sistem de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare automat\u0103 bazat pe re\u021bele neuronale recurente LSTM, optimizat pentru recunoa\u0219terea \u00eentregilor linii \u0219i care permite o \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bire semnificativ\u0103 a preciziei. Modelele antrenate sunt publicate pentru 123 de limbi. Pentru optimizarea performan\u021bei, sunt disponibile module care folosesc OpenMP \u0219i instruc\u021biuni SIMD AVX2, AVX, NEON sau SSE4.1.     <\/p>\n<p>\u00cembun\u0103t\u0103\u021biri majore
