Versiunea Tor 0.4.7.7 este recunoscut\u0103 ca prima versiune stabil\u0103 a ramurii 0.4.7, care s-a dezvoltat \u00een ultimele zece luni. Ramura 0.4.7 va fi \u00eentre\u021binut\u0103 \u00een cadrul ciclului obi\u0219nuit de suport \u2014 lansarea actualiz\u0103rilor va fi oprit\u0103 dup\u0103 9 luni sau dup\u0103 3 luni de la lansarea ramurii 0.4.8.x.    <\/p>\n<p>Principalele modific\u0103ri din noua ramur\u0103:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 implementarea protocolului de control al congestiei RTT (Round Trip Time), care reglementeaz\u0103 traficul prin re\u021beaua Tor (\u00eentre client \u0219i nodul de ie\u0219ire sau serviciul onion). Protocolul are ca scop reducerea dimensiunii cozilor de pe relee \u0219i dep\u0103\u0219irea limit\u0103rilor actuale ale l\u0103\u021bimii de band\u0103. P\u00e2n\u0103 acum, viteza unui flux de desc\u0103rcare prin nodurile de ie\u0219ire \u0219i serviciile onion era limitat\u0103 la 1 MB\/sec, deoarece fereastra de trimitere are o dimensiune fix\u0103 de 1000 de celule pe flux, iar \u00een fiecare celul\u0103 pot fi trimise 512 octe\u021bi de date (viteza fluxului cu o laten\u021b\u0103 \u00een lan\u021b de 0.5 sec = 1000*512\/0.5 = ~1 MB\/sec).\n<p>Pentru a prezice l\u0103\u021bimea de band\u0103 disponibil\u0103 \u0219i a determina dimensiunea cozii de pachete, noul protocol folose\u0219te estimarea timpului de \u00eentoarcere (RTT, Round Trip Time). Simul\u0103rile realizate au ar\u0103tat c\u0103 aplicarea noului protocol pe nodurile de ie\u0219ire \u0219i serviciile onion va duce la reducerea \u00eent\u00e2rzierilor din coad\u0103, eliminarea limit\u0103rilor de vitez\u0103 a fluxului, cre\u0219terea performan\u021bei re\u021belei Tor \u0219i utilizarea mai optim\u0103 a l\u0103\u021bimii de band\u0103 disponibile. Pe partea clientului, suportul pentru controlul fluxului va fi oferit pe 31 mai \u00een urm\u0103toarea versiune semnificativ\u0103 a browserului Tor, construit pe ramura Tor 0.4.7.         <\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 o protec\u021bie simplificat\u0103 Vanguards-lite \u00eempotriva atacurilor de de-anonimizare a serviciilor onion cu o durat\u0103 scurt\u0103 de via\u021b\u0103, care reduce riscul identific\u0103rii nodurilor de gard\u0103 (guard) ale serviciului onion sau al clientului onion, \u00een condi\u021biile \u00een care serviciul func\u021bioneaz\u0103 mai pu\u021bin de o lun\u0103 (pentru serviciile onion care func\u021bioneaz\u0103 mai mult de o lun\u0103, se recomand\u0103 utilizarea extensiei vanguards). Esen\u021ba metodei este c\u0103 clien\u021bii \u0219i serviciile onion aleg automat 4 noduri de gard\u0103 de lung\u0103 durat\u0103 (\u201elayer 2 guard relay\u201d) pentru utilizare \u00een mijlocul lan\u021bului, iar aceste noduri sunt p\u0103strate pentru o perioad\u0103 aleatorie (\u00een medie o s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103).\n<li class=\"l\"> Pentru <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/server\/\"   title=\"servere\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1642\">servere<\/a> directorii a fost implementat\u0103 capacitatea de a atribui flagul MiddleOnly relay-urilor prin utilizarea unei noi metode de atingere a consensului. Noua metod\u0103 implic\u0103 transferul logicii de setare a flagului MiddleOnly de la nivelul clientului la serverele directorii.
