Distribu\u021bia se remarc\u0103 prin cerin\u021be de securitate \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bite \u0219i este construit\u0103 cu protec\u021bia SSP (Stack Smashing Protection). Ca sistem de ini\u021bializare, se folose\u0219te OpenRC, iar pentru gestionarea pachetelor se aplic\u0103 managerul de pachete propriu apk. Alpine este utilizat pentru a genera imagini oficiale ale containerelor Docker.
