A fost propus un distribuitor browser-linux, destinat s\u0103 ruleze un mediu Linux pe consol\u0103 \u00een browser-ul web. Proiectul poate fi folosit pentru o familiarizare rapid\u0103 cu Linux, f\u0103r\u0103 a fi necesar\u0103 lansarea de ma\u0219ini virtuale sau \u00eenc\u0103rcarea de pe un suport extern. Un mediu Linux restr\u00e2ns este format utiliz\u00e2nd instrumentele Buildroot. <\/p>\n

Pentru a rula construc\u021bia ob\u021binut\u0103 \u00een browser, se folose\u0219te emulatorul v86, care transmite codul ma\u0219inii \u00een format WebAssembly. Pentru gestionarea stoc\u0103rii, se utilizeaz\u0103 biblioteca localForage, care func\u021bioneaz\u0103 deasupra API-ului IndexedDB. Utilizatorului i se ofer\u0103 posibilitatea de a salva starea mediului \u00een orice moment \u0219i de a restabili activitatea de la acea pozi\u021bie salvat\u0103. Ie\u0219irea este generat\u0103 \u00eentr-o fereastr\u0103 de terminal, realizat\u0103 cu ajutorul bibliotecii xterm.js. Pentru configurarea interac\u021biunii de re\u021bea se utilizeaz\u0103 udhcpc.
