\u00cen biblioteca criptografic\u0103 OpenSSL a fost descoperit\u0103 o vulnerabilitate (CVE \u00eenc\u0103 nesolicitat), prin care un atacator de la distan\u021b\u0103 poate distruge con\u021binutul memoriei unui proces prin trimiterea de date formatate special \u00een timpul stabilirii unei conexiuni TLS. Deocamdat\u0103 nu este clar dac\u0103 problema poate duce la executarea codului atacatorului \u0219i la scurgerea de date din memoria procesului, sau dac\u0103 se limiteaz\u0103 doar la o \u00eentrerupere a func\u021bion\u0103rii. <\/p>\n

Vulnerabilitatea apare \u00een versiunea OpenSSL 3.0.4, publicat\u0103 pe 21 iunie, \u0219i este cauzat\u0103 de o corectare incorect\u0103 a unei erori \u00een cod, rezult\u00e2nd \u00een posibilitatea de a supra\u00eenc\u0103rca sau citi p\u00e2n\u0103 la 8192 de octe\u021bi de date dincolo de buffer-ul alocat. Exploatarea vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bii este posibil\u0103 doar pe sistemele x86_64 care suport\u0103 instruc\u021biunile AVX512. <\/p>\n

Ramifica\u021biile OpenSSL, cum ar fi BoringSSL \u0219i LibreSSL, precum \u0219i ramura OpenSSL 1.1.1, nu sunt afectate de problem\u0103.
