Aplica\u021biile suplimentare sunt instalate \u00een format Flatpak \u0219i ruleaz\u0103 \u00een containere izolate. Dimensiunea imaginii de instalare este de 2 GB. Contribu\u021biile proiectului sunt distribuite sub licen\u021ba MIT.    <\/p>\n<p>Con\u021binutul sistemului de baz\u0103 este montat \u00een modul read-only pentru a proteja \u00eempotriva modific\u0103rilor \u00een cazul unei compromiteri. Parti\u021bia \/usr\/local este disponibil\u0103 pentru scriere. Sistemul de fi\u0219iere utilizat este Btrfs, cu activarea comprim\u0103rii datelor stocate \u0219i aplicarea activ\u0103 a instantaneelor. Procesul de actualizare a sistemului const\u0103 \u00een desc\u0103rcarea \u00een fundal a unei noi imagini de sistem \u0219i comutarea pe aceasta dup\u0103 repornire. Astfel, vechea imagine de sistem este p\u0103strat\u0103, iar utilizatorul poate reveni oric\u00e2nd la versiunea anterioar\u0103, dac\u0103 dore\u0219te sau \u00een cazul unor probleme. \u00cen timpul dezvolt\u0103rii distribu\u021biei, con\u021binutul mediului de sistem este compilat cu ajutorul instrumentelor OSTree (imaginea este format\u0103 dintr-un depozit de tip Git) \u0219i a sistemului de construire BuildStream, f\u0103r\u0103 a utiliza pachete din alte distribu\u021bii.      <\/p>\n<p>Pentru instalarea distribu\u021biei, este disponibil un instalator grafic \u0219i o interfa\u021b\u0103 de configurare ini\u021bial\u0103 a sistemului. Aplica\u021biile instalate de utilizatori sunt izolate unele de altele \u00een containere. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 instalarea pachetelor Flatpak, distribu\u021bia permite utilizarea instrumentului nsbox pentru a crea containere arbitrare, \u00een care pot fi g\u0103zduite medii ale distribu\u021biilor tradi\u021bionale, cum ar fi Arch Linux \u0219i Debian. De asemenea, suportul pentru instrumentul podman este oferit, asigur\u00e2nd compatibilitatea cu containerele Docker. \u00cen distribu\u021bie este implementat un mecanism centralizat de gestionare a permisiunilor pe baza Polkit - sudo nu este suportat, iar singura modalitate de a executa comenzi cu privilegii de root este pkexec.         <\/p>\n<p>Proiectul dezvolt\u0103 propriul mediu de utilizator GDE (Graphite Desktop Environment), bazat pe GNOME. Printre diferen\u021bele fa\u021b\u0103 de GNOME se num\u0103r\u0103: ecranul de conectare modernizat, configuratorul, indicatorii de volum \u0219i lumin\u0103, bara de instrumente \u0219i Graphite Shell. \u00cen urm\u0103toarea versiune se inten\u021bioneaz\u0103 abandonarea men\u021binerii propriului shell \u00een favoarea GNOME Shell standard \u0219i promovarea \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birilor dezvoltate \u00een cadrul proiectului \u00een cadrul principal al GNOME.      <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen noua versiune:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Au fost actualizate
