Proiectul este fondat de un grup de dezvoltatori din China, dar s-a transformat \u00eentr-un proiect interna\u021bional. Distribu\u021bia suport\u0103 limba rus\u0103. Toate realiz\u0103rile sunt distribuite sub licen\u021ba GPLv3. Dimensiunea imaginii ISO de boot este de 4 GB (amd64).      <\/p>\n<p>Componentele desktop-ului \u0219i aplica\u021biile sunt dezvoltate folosind limbajele C\/C++ (Qt5) \u0219i Go. Caracteristica principal\u0103 a desktop-ului Deepin este bara de instrumente, care suport\u0103 mai multe moduri de func\u021bionare. \u00cen modul clasic, exist\u0103 o separare mai clar\u0103 \u00eentre feron\u021bele deschise \u0219i aplica\u021biile disponibile pentru lansare, fiind afi\u015fat\u0103 zona din tava sistemului. Modul eficient aduce aminte de Unity, combin\u00e2nd indicatoarele programelor pornite, aplica\u021biile favorite \u0219i appleturile de control (reglarea volumului\/brighness, unit\u0103\u021bi conectate, ceas, starea re\u021belei etc.).
