Proiectul este dezvoltat sub conducerea lui Eric Raymond, cu participarea unor dezvoltatori ai NTP Classic original, ingineri de la Hewlett Packard \u0219i Akamai Technologies, precum \u0219i a proiectelor GPSD \u0219i RTEMS.
