S-a f\u0103cut un calcul pentru umplerea cu pachete spam a listei cu cele mai recente actualiz\u0103ri de pe pagina principal\u0103 NPM. \u00cen descrierea pachetelor erau incluse linkuri promi\u021b\u00e2nd distribu\u021bii gratuite, cadouri, cheats pentru jocuri, precum \u0219i servicii gratuite de cre\u0219tere a num\u0103rului de abona\u021bi \u0219i like-uri pe re\u021belele sociale, cum ar fi TikTok \u0219i Instagram. Pachetele au fost publicate sub numeroase conturi diferite, utiliz\u00e2nd metode care complicau urm\u0103rirea urmelor \u0219i identificarea rapid\u0103 a pachetelor problematice.      <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen plus fa\u021b\u0103 de ac\u021biunile frauduloase \u00een depozitele NPM \u0219i PyPi, au fost identificate \u0219i c\u00e2teva tentative de publicare a pachetelor mali\u021bioase:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen repository-ul PyPI au fost g\u0103site 451 de pachete mali\u021bioase, care s-au mascat sub anumite biblioteci populare prin utilizarea type squatting (atribuit nume similare, diferite prin caractere specifice, de exemplu, vper \u00een loc de vyper, bitcoinnlib \u00een loc de bitcoinlib, ccryptofeed \u00een loc de cryptofeed, ccxtt \u00een loc de ccxt, cryptocommpare \u00een loc de cryptocompare, seleium \u00een loc de selenium, pinstaller \u00een loc de pyinstaller etc.). Pachetele con\u021bineau cod obfuscat pentru furtul de criptomonede, care determina prezen\u021ba identificatorilor de portofel criptografic \u00een clipboard \u0219i \u00eei schimba cu portofelul atacatorului (se presupune c\u0103, la efectuarea pl\u0103\u021bii, victima nu va observa c\u0103 num\u0103rul de portofel transferat prin clipboard este diferit). \u00cenlocuirea era realizat\u0103 de o extensie integrat\u0103 \u00een browser, care rula \u00een contextul fiec\u0103rei pagini web vizitate.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen repository-ul PyPI a fost descoperit\u0103 o serie de biblioteci HTTP mali\u021bioase. Activitatea mali\u021bioas\u0103 a fost g\u0103sit\u0103 \u00een 41 de pachete, ale c\u0103ror nume erau selectate folosind metode de type squatting \u0219i sem\u0103nau cu biblioteci populare (aio5, requestst, ulrlib, urllb, libhttps, piphttps, httpxv2 etc.). Con\u021binutul era stilizat dup\u0103 biblioteci HTTP func\u021bionale sau copia codul bibliotecilor existente, iar \u00een descriere se f\u0103ceau afirma\u021bii despre avantaje \u0219i compara\u021bii cu biblioteci HTTP legitime. Activitatea mali\u021bioas\u0103 consta fie \u00een desc\u0103rcarea de software mali\u021bios \u00een sistem, fie \u00een colectarea \u0219i trimiterea de date confiden\u021biale.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen NPM au fost descoperite 16 pachete JavaScript (speedte*, trova*, lagra), care, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 func\u021bionalitatea declarat\u0103 (testarea l\u0103\u021bimii de band\u0103), con\u021bineau \u0219i cod pentru mineritul criptomonedelor f\u0103r\u0103 cuno\u0219tin\u021ba utilizatorului.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen NPM a fost identificat 691 de pachete mali\u021bioase. Cea mai mare parte a pachetelor problematice pretindeau a fi proiecte de la Yandex (yandex-logger-sentry, yandex-logger-qloud, yandex-sendsms etc.) \u0219i includeau cod pentru trimiterea de informa\u021bii confiden\u021biale pe externe. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/server\/\"   title=\"servere\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1951\">servere<\/a>. Se presupune c\u0103 cei care au plasat pachetele \u00eencercau s\u0103 ob\u021bin\u0103 \u00eenlocuirea dependen\u021bei proprii la construirea proiectelor \u00een Yandex (metoda de substitu\u021bie a dependen\u021belor interne). \u00cen repository-ul PyPI, aceia\u0219i cercet\u0103tori au g\u0103sit 49 de pachete (reqsystem, httpxfaster, aio6, gorilla2, httpsos, pohttp etc.) cu cod mali\u021bios
