Mruby ofer\u0103 compatibilitate de baz\u0103 a sintaxei la nivelul Ruby 3.x, cu excep\u021bia suportului pentru potrivirea cu modelul (&#171;case .. in&#187;). Interpretul se distinge prin consumul redus de memorie \u0219i este destinat integr\u0103rii suportului pentru limbajul Ruby \u00een alte aplica\u021bii. Interpretul \u00eencorporat \u00een aplica\u021bie poate executa at\u00e2t cod surs\u0103 Ruby, c\u00e2t \u0219i bytecode ob\u021binut cu ajutorul compilatorului dezvoltat \u00een proiect, &#171;mrbc&#187;.
