Printre platformele suportate se num\u0103r\u0103: GNU\/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Solaris, Android, macOS, Win32 \u0219i z\/OS. Biblioteca este distribuit\u0103 sub licen\u021ba LGPL 2.1+. \u00cen forma sa compilat\u0103, biblioteca ocup\u0103 aproximativ 32 KB.    <\/p>\n<p>Biblioteca suport\u0103 protocolul HTTP 1.1, TLS, procesarea incremental\u0103 a cererilor POST, autentificarea basic \u0219i digest, IPv6, SHOUTcast, diferite metode de multiplexare a conexiunilor (select, poll, epoll) \u0219i modele de multi-threading (de exemplu, se poate folosi un pool de fire de execu\u021bie sau un fir de execu\u021bie pe conexiune). Pentru a reduce suprasarcina generat\u0103 de schimbarea contextului \u00eentre nucleu \u0219i spa\u021biul utilizatorului, num\u0103rul apelurilor sistemului \u00een timpul execu\u021biei este minimizat.      <\/p>\n<p>Cele mai notabile schimb\u0103ri:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> API-ul a introdus o nou\u0103 func\u021bie MHD_get_version_bin() pentru ob\u021binerea informa\u021biilor despre versiunea bibliotecii \u00een format compact (de exemplu, 0x00097701).\n<li class=\"l\"> La forma recomandat\u0103 \u00een RFC include identificatorii algoritmilor utiliza\u021bi pentru autentificarea digest (&#171;MD5&#187; \/ &#171;SHA-256&#187; \u00een loc de &#171;md5&#187; \/ &#171;sha-256&#187;).\n<li class=\"l\"> Codul de decodare a blocurilor \u00een format Base64 a fost rescris, \u00eent\u0103rind verificarea corectitudinii datelor de intrare \u00een format Base64.\n<li class=\"l\"> Configurarea cross-compil\u0103rii a fost \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit\u0103, sporind compatibilitatea cu POSIX \u0219i noile versiuni ale compilatoarelor.\n<li class=\"l\"> Teste interne au fost ad\u0103ugate pentru verificarea decod\u0103rii Base64, Basic Auth \u0219i a header-elor HTTP lungi care sunt consolidate.\n<li class=\"l\"> Testele au fost efectuate utiliz\u00e2nd API-ul actualizat al bibliotecii libcurl pentru a ascunde avertiz\u0103rile legate de utilizarea apelurilor deprecate.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 posibilitatea de a utiliza compilatoarele VC (Visual C) atunci c\u00e2nd se compileaz\u0103 pentru sistemele ARM \u0219i ARM64.\n<li class=\"l\"> Orice valori negative returnate de apelurile callback sunt acum interpretate ca erori (anterior, valorile negative, cu excep\u021bia codurilor de eroare predefinite, puteau duce la comportament nedefinit).\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 procesarea macro-ului preprocesor &#171;DEBUG&#187; (manipulatorul este identic cu macro-ul &#171;_DEBUG&#187;).\n<li
