TrueNAS CORE 13 este bazat pe codul surs\u0103 FreeBSD 13, se distinge prin suportul integrat pentru ZFS \u0219i posibilitatea gestion\u0103rii prin intermediul unei interfe\u021be web, construit\u0103 folosind cadrul Python Django. Pentru organizarea accesului la stocare, sunt acceptate FTP, NFS, Samba, AFP, rsync \u0219i iSCSI, iar pentru a cre\u0219te fiabilitatea stoc\u0103rii, se poate aplica RAID software (0,1,5), iar pentru autorizarea clien\u021bilor, este realizat suportul pentru LDAP\/Active Directory.
