Suportul va fi oferit \u00een cadrul programului SLTS (Super Long Term Support), care, spre deosebire de lans\u0103rile LTS (Long Term Support), implic\u0103 un ciclu de suport mai \u00eendelungat, destinat utiliz\u0103rii nucleului \u00een sistemele tehnice ale infrastructurii civile \u0219i \u00een sistemele industriale critice. Actualiz\u0103ri pentru ramura Linux 6.1 vor fi lansate timp de cel pu\u021bin 10 ani, timp \u00een care \u00een nucleu vor fi integrate nu doar remedieri ce influen\u021beaz\u0103 fiabilitatea \u0219i securitatea, ci \u0219i \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021biri din ramuri mai noi pentru a sus\u021bine echipamentele noi. Anterior, un ciclu extins similar de asisten\u021b\u0103 a fost aplicat nucleelor 4.4, 4.19 \u0219i 5.10.    <\/p>\n<p>Pentru urm\u0103rirea actualiz\u0103rilor \u00een ramura SLTS 6.1 a fost propus un repository git linux-cip. \u00centre\u021binerea ramurii SLTS va fi realizat\u0103 de c\u0103tre proiectul Civil Infrastructure Platform (CIP), care func\u021bioneaz\u0103 sub auspiciile Linux Foundation, dezvoltat cu participarea unor companii precum Toshiba, Siemens, Renesas, Bosch, Hitachi \u0219i MOXA. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 reprezentan\u021bii acestor companii, \u00eentre\u021binerea nucleului SLTS va implica de asemenea mentaineri din ramurile LTS ale nucleului principal, dezvoltatori Debian \u0219i creatorii proiectului KernelCI.     <\/p>\n<p>Lista ramurilor LTS sus\u021binute de dezvoltatorii nucleului Linux:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\">  6.1 \u2014 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een decembrie 2026 + suport \u00een cadrul SLTS (utilizat \u00een Debian 12).\n<li class=\"l\"> 5.15 \u2014 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een octombrie 2026 (utilizat \u00een Ubuntu 22.04, Oracle Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 7 \u0219i OpenWRT master).\n<li class=\"l\"> 5.10 \u2014 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een decembrie 2026 + suport \u00een cadrul SLTS (utilizat \u00een Debian 11, Android 12 \u0219i OpenWRT 22).   <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> 5.4 \u2014 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een decembrie 2025 (utilizat \u00een Ubuntu 20.04 LTS \u0219i \u00een Oracle Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 6).  <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> 4.19 \u2014 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een decembrie 2024 + suport \u00een cadrul SLTS (utilizat \u00een Debian 10 \u0219i Android 10).  <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> 4.14 \u2014 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een ianuarie 2024.
