Problema este cauzat\u0103 de accesarea memoriei dup\u0103 eliberare (use-after-free) \u00een modulul nf_tables, care asigur\u0103 func\u021bionarea filtrului de pachete nftables. Vulnerabilitatea apare \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu versiunea nucleului Linux 5.6. Corectarea vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bii a fost propus\u0103 \u00een versiunea de test a nucleului Linux 6.7-rc5 \u0219i a fost transferat\u0103 \u00een ramurile stabile actuale 5.10.204, 5.15.143, 6.1.68 \u0219i 6.6.7.      <\/p>\n<p>Problema este cauzat\u0103 de o eroare \u00een func\u021bia nft_pipapo_walk, din cauza c\u0103reia, \u00een timpul parcurgerii elementelor PIPAPO (Pile Packet Policies), nu s-a verificat existen\u021ba duplicatelor, ceea ce a dus la eliberarea dubl\u0103 a memoriei. Pentru a efectua un atac, este necesar s\u0103 ai acces la nftables, care poate fi ob\u021binut cu drepturi CAP_NET_ADMIN \u00een orice spa\u021biu de nume de identificatori de utilizator (user namespace) sau spa\u021biu de nume de re\u021bea (network namespace), care pot fi acordate, de exemplu, \u00een containere izolate.
