Proiectul este dezvoltat sub conducerea lui Eric Raymond, \u00eempreun\u0103 cu dezvoltatori din NTP Classic original, ingineri de la Hewlett Packard \u0219i Akamai Technologies, precum \u0219i din proiectele GPSD \u0219i RTEMS. Textele surs\u0103 NTPsec sunt distribuite sub licen\u021bele BSD, MIT \u0219i NTP.    <\/p>\n<p>Printre modific\u0103rile din noua versiune:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Alinierea pachetelor protocolului de control Mode 6 a fost modificat\u0103, ceea ce poate duce la pierderi de compatibilitate cu NTP clasic. Protocolul Mode 6 este utilizat pentru a transmite informa\u021bii despre stare <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3615\">server<\/a> \u0219i pentru a schimba comportamentul serverului \u00een timp real.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen ntpq, algoritmul de criptare AES este activat \u00een mod implicit.\n<li class=\"l\"> Prin intermediul mecanismului Seccomp, este asigurat\u0103 blocarea numelui sistemului de apeluri incorecte.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost inclus\u0103 resetarea anumitor statistici la fiecare or\u0103. Au fost ad\u0103ugate fi\u0219iere de jurnal cu statistici NTS \u0219i NTS-KE \u00eenregistrate la fiecare or\u0103.
