Proiectul a fost creat \u00een 2018 \u0219i ini\u021bial a folosit limbajul C, dar \u00een 2020 a fost relansat complet de la zero, \u021bin\u00e2nd cont de experien\u021ba acumulat\u0103, \u0219i a trecut pe Rust pentru a reduce probabilitatea de a face erori legate de gestionarea memoriei. Codul nucleului este distribuit sub licen\u021ba MIT. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 nucleu, proiectul \u00een limbajul Rust dezvolt\u0103, de asemenea, X11-<a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/server\/\"   title=\"serverul\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">serverul<\/a>, un manager de pachete, un bootloader, un installer, un set de utilitare \u0219i alte componente necesare pentru construirea unui sistem de operare.       <\/p>\n<p>Nucleul are o arhitectur\u0103 monolitic\u0103 \u0219i \u00een prezent suport\u0103 doar sisteme x86 \u00een modul de 32 de bi\u021bi. Codul surs\u0103 al nucleului cuprinde 48.8 mii de linii de cod (spre compara\u021bie, nucleul Linux are 33 de milioane de linii de cod). Este posibil s\u0103 fie lansat \u00een QEMU, VirtualBox sau pe hardware. \u00cen acest stadiu de dezvoltare, \u00een Maestro au fost implementate 31% (135 din 437) apeluri de sistem Linux, ceea ce este suficient pentru a \u00eenc\u0103rca un mediu de consol\u0103 bazat pe bash \u0219i biblioteca standard C Musl. \u00cen mediul bazat pe Maestro pot fi executate, de asemenea, unele utilitare din \/proc.\n<li class=\"l\"> Suport pentru montarea FS-urilor \u0219i a parti\u021biilor de disc MBR \u0219i GPT.\n<li class=\"l\"> Suport pentru initramfs.\n<li class=\"l\"> Driver RTC pentru temporizator \u0219i timp precis.\n<li class=\"l\"> Suport pentru \u00eenc\u0103rcarea modulelor nucleului.\n<li class=\"l\"> Posibilitatea de a rula fi\u0219iere executabile \u00een format ELF.  <\/ul>\n<p>\u00cen prezent, se lucreaz\u0103 la crearea unui stiv\u0103 de re\u021bea, iar dup\u0103 finalizare se planific\u0103 implementarea suportului pentru maparea direct\u0103 a fi\u0219ierelor
