Problemele cu publicarea codului se datoreaz\u0103 existen\u021bei \u00een HDMI a unor tehnologii care reprezint\u0103 secrete comerciale, cum ar fi mecanismele de protec\u021bie \u00eempotriva copierii \u0219i criptarea semnalului video (HDCP, High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). Specifica\u021biile HDMI 2.1 nu sunt distribuite public, ceea ce complic\u0103 crearea de implement\u0103ri neoficiale.        <\/p>\n<p>Suportul HDMI 2.1 este esen\u021bial pentru transmiterea semnalului video cu calitate 4K, 5K, 6K, 8K \u0219i 10K la o rat\u0103 mare de re\u00eemprosp\u0103tare a ecranului (de exemplu, 4k@120hz cu ad\u00e2ncimea de culori de 24\/30\/36\/48 bi\u021bi sau 5k@240hz cu 24\/30\/36 bi\u021bi sau HDR). Ca solu\u021bie alternativ\u0103 pentru utilizarea modurilor extinse, se recomand\u0103 folosirea portului DisplayPort, iar atunci c\u00e2nd pe ecran exist\u0103 doar HDMI \u2014 adaptoare externe
