Pentru stocarea datelor versionate, Got utilizeaz\u0103 un depozit compatibil cu formatul pe disc al repo-urilor Git, ceea ce permite lucrul cu depozitul folosind instrumentele Got \u0219i Git. De exemplu, este posibil s\u0103 efectuezi lucr\u0103ri cu Git care nu sunt implementate \u00een Got. Pentru navigarea prin datele din depozit, sunt disponibili interfa\u021ba web gotwebd \u0219i utilitarul tog pentru vizualizarea interactiv\u0103 a con\u021binutului depozitului din linia de comand\u0103.         <\/p>\n<p>Printre modific\u0103ri:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 comanda 'got init', implementat\u0103 ca alternativ\u0103 la comanda 'gotadmin init'.\n<li class=\"l\"> S-a realizat trecerea la utilizarea func\u021biei readdir \u00een loc de readdir_r.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen interfa\u021ba web a fost oferit\u0103 posibilitatea de a schimba identificatorul utilizatorului sub care se execut\u0103 procesul gotwebd. \u00cen fi\u0219ierul de configura\u021bie gotwebd.conf au fost eliminate op\u021biunile \u201elisten on socket off\u201d, \u201eunix_socket off\u201d \u0219i \u201eunix_socket_name\u201d.
