Rezultatul poate fi salvat at\u00e2t ca text simplu, c\u00e2t \u0219i \u00een formate HTML (hOCR), ALTO (XML), PDF \u0219i TSV. Sistemul a fost ini\u021bial creat \u00eentre 1985 \u0219i 1995 \u00een laboratorul companiei Hewlett Packard, iar \u00een 2005, codul a fost deschis sub licen\u021ba Apache \u0219i dezvoltat ulterior cu participarea angaja\u021bilor companiei Google. Textele surs\u0103 ale proiectului sunt distribuite sub licen\u021ba Apache 2.0.    <\/p>\n<p>Tesseract include o utilitar\u0103 de linie de comand\u0103 \u0219i biblioteca libtesseract pentru a \u00eencorpora func\u021biile de recunoa\u0219tere a textului \u00een alte aplica\u021bii. Dintre interfe\u021bele GUI ter\u021b\u0103 parte care suport\u0103 Tesseract, se pot men\u021biona gImageReader, VietOCR \u0219i YAGF. Sunt oferite dou\u0103 motoare de recunoa\u0219tere: clasic, care recunoa\u0219te textul la nivelul \u0219ablonului de caractere individuale, \u0219i noul motor bazat pe utilizarea sistemului de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare automat\u0103 cu re\u021bea neural\u0103 recurent\u0103 LSTM, optimizat pentru recunoa\u0219terea \u00eentregilor linii \u0219i care permite ob\u021binerea unei cre\u0219teri semnificative a acurate\u021bei. Modelele antrenate sunt publicate pentru 123 de limbi. Pentru optimizarea performan\u021bei, sunt propuse module care utilizeaz\u0103 OpenMP \u0219i instruc\u021biuni SIMD AVX2, AVX, AVX512F, NEON sau SSE4.1.     <\/p>\n<p>\u00cembun\u0103t\u0103\u021biri
