\u00cen codul surs\u0103 al OpenSSH a fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 o protec\u021bie \u00eencorporat\u0103 \u00eempotriva atacurilor automate de ghicire a parolelor, \u00een timpul c\u0103rora boturile \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103 ghiceasc\u0103 parola utilizatorului, \u00eencerc\u00e2nd diferite combina\u021bii comune. Pentru a bloca astfel de atacuri, \u00een fi\u0219ierul de configurare sshd_config a fost ad\u0103ugat parametrul PerSourcePenalties, care permite stabilirea unui prag de blocare activat atunci c\u00e2nd un num\u0103r mare de \u00eencerc\u0103ri e\u0219uate de conexiune vin de la aceea\u0219i adres\u0103 IP. Noua mecanism de protec\u021bie va fi inclus \u00een urm\u0103toarea versiune a OpenSSH \u0219i va fi activat implicit \u00een OpenBSD 7.6. <\/p>\n

Prin intermediul parametrului PerSourcePenalties se stabile\u0219te pragul minim de evenimente anormale, dup\u0103 care adresa IP pentru care a fost \u00eenregistrat\u0103 o activitate suspect\u0103 va fi blocat\u0103. Prin utilizarea parametrului PerSourceNetBlockSize, se poate stabili suplimentar o masc\u0103 a subre\u021belei pentru a bloca \u00eentreaga subre\u021bea la care apar\u021bine IP-ul problematic. <\/p>\n
