Mediu utilizator Chrome OS se limiteaz\u0103 la browserul web, \u00een loc de programele standard fiind utilizate aplica\u021biile web; totu\u0219i, Chrome OS include o interfa\u021b\u0103 complet\u0103 multi-fereastr\u0103, desktop \u0219i bar\u0103 de sarcini. Afi\u0219area pe ecran se efectueaz\u0103 prin intermediul stivei grafice Freon (se lucreaz\u0103 la tranzi\u021bia la utilizarea Wayland) \u0219i managerului de feronerie Aura. Codurile surs\u0103 sunt distribuite sub licen\u021ba liber\u0103 Apache 2.0. Compilarea Chrome OS 126 este disponibil\u0103 pentru majoritatea modelelor actuale de Chromebook. \u0219i contul Google.\n<li class=\"l\"> Modul de func\u021bionare \u00een rolul de punct de acces \u201eInstant tethering\u201d a fost redenumit \u00een \u201eInstant Hotspot\u201d.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat suport pentru actualizarea firmware-ului pentru diferite dispozitive periferice suplimentare.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost implementat\u0103 setarea pentru dezactivarea navig\u0103rii \u00eentre pagini, folosind gestul de glisare pe ecran.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost implementat\u0103 setarea pentru dezactivarea clipei cursorului text.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen modul de citire vocal\u0103 a zonelor selectate (Select to Speak) a ap\u0103rut posibilitatea de a utiliza instrumentul \u201elup\u0103\u201d pentru a m\u0103ri automat cuvintele pronun\u021bate \u00een acel moment.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen modul de control parental \u201eFamily Link\u201d a ap\u0103rut posibilitatea de a oferi drepturi pentru instalarea anumitor extensii \u0219i aplica\u021bii.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost implementat un calendar global (multi-calendar) care permite vizualizarea informa\u021biilor despre evenimente din mai multe calendare \u00eentr-o singur\u0103 fereastr\u0103
