Proiectul acord\u0103 o mare aten\u021bie organiz\u0103rii lans\u0103rii aplica\u021biilor de jocuri \u0219i ofer\u0103 posibilitatea de a lansa compil\u0103ri Windows prin wine \u0219i Proton. Codul surs\u0103 al proiectului este scris \u00een limba C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba MIT.      <\/p>\n<p>O caracteristic\u0103 a proiectului este utilizarea unui model hibrid de execu\u021bie, \u00een care emulatorul este aplicat doar pe codul ma\u0219in\u0103 al aplica\u021biei \u00een sine \u0219i bibliotecilor specifice. Bibliotecile de sistem standard, inclusiv libc, libm, GTK, SDL, Vulkan \u0219i OpenGL, sunt \u00eenlocuite cu variante native pentru platformele \u021bint\u0103. Astfel, apelurile la biblioteci sunt efectuate f\u0103r\u0103 emula\u021bie, ceea ce permite ob\u021binerea unei cre\u0219teri semnificative a performan\u021bei.       <\/p>\n<p>Emularea codului pentru care nu exist\u0103 \u00eenlocuiri native pentru platforma \u021bint\u0103 se realizeaz\u0103 utiliz\u00e2nd tehnica de recompilare dinamic\u0103 (DynaRec) dintr-un set de instruc\u021biuni ma\u0219in\u0103 \u00een altul. Comparativ cu interpretarea instruc\u021biunilor ma\u0219in\u0103, recompilarea dinamic\u0103 demonstreaz\u0103 o performan\u021b\u0103 cu 5-10 ori mai ridicat\u0103.     <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen noua versiune:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost implementat suportul pentru extensiile procesorului AVX, AVX2, BMI1, BMI2, ADX, FMA, F16C \u0219i RDRAND.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 variabila de mediu BOX64_AVX, setarea la 1 activ\u00e2nd suportul pentru AVX, BMI1, F16C \u0219i VAES, iar setarea la 2 \u2014 pentru AVX2, BMI2, FMA, ADX, VPCLMULQDQ \u0219i RDRAND.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat suportul pentru recompilarea dinamic\u0103 (DynaRec) a instruc\u021biunilor AVX, AVX2 \u0219i similare \u00een reprezentarea pe baza instruc\u021biunilor NEON, oferit\u0103 de CPU-urile bazate pe arhitectura ARM64.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat suport ini\u021bial pentru recompilarea instruc\u021biunilor SIMD \u00een instruc\u021biuni RVV pe sistemele RISC-V.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost optimizat mecanismul DynaRec, fiind ad\u0103ugat suport pentru noi opcode-uri pentru RISC-V \u0219i Loongarch64.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost actualizat\u0103 lista opcode-urilor CPUID, prin default, \u00een loc de Pentium IV, CPUID acum returneaz\u0103 CPU-uri din seria Haswell.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat suport pentru Wayland \u0219i a fost oferit\u0103 capacitatea de recompilare dinamic\u0103 a bibliotecilor asociate cu Wayland, ceea ce a permis ob\u021binerea compatibilit\u0103\u021bii cu Wine-wayland.\n<li class=\"l\"> Num\u0103rul de jocuri acceptate a fost extins, de exemplu, a fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 compatibilitatea cu jocul Death Stranding.
