Rspamd sus\u021bine practic toate func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bile implementate \u00een SpamAssassin \u0219i dispune de o serie de caracteristici care permit filtrarea mesajelor de email de aproximativ 10 ori mai repede dec\u00e2t SpamAssassin, asigur\u00e2nd de asemenea o calitate mai bun\u0103 a filtr\u0103rii. Codul sistemului este scris \u00een limbajul C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba Apache 2.0.       <\/p>\n<p>Rspamd este construit utiliz\u00e2nd o arhitectur\u0103 orientat\u0103 pe evenimente \u0219i este conceput ini\u021bial pentru a fi utilizat \u00een sisteme cu sarcini de lucru mari, permi\u021b\u00e2nd procesarea a sute de mesaje pe secund\u0103. Reguli pentru identificarea indiciilor de spam sunt foarte flexibile \u0219i, \u00een forma lor cea mai simpl\u0103, pot con\u021bine expresii regulate, iar \u00een situa\u021bii mai complexe pot fi formulate \u00een limbajul Lua. Extinderea func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bii \u0219i ad\u0103ugarea de noi tipuri de verific\u0103ri este realizat\u0103 prin module, care pot fi create \u00een limbajele C \u0219i Lua.
