Netplan asigur\u0103 stocarea parametrilor \u00een format YAML \u0219i ofer\u0103 backend-uri care abstractizeaz\u0103 accesul la configura\u021bie pentru NetworkManager \u0219i systemd-networkd. Instrumentul este utilizat \u00een distribu\u021bia Ubuntu \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu versiunea 17.10 \u0219i \u00een versiunile Debian 12 pentru sistemele cloud. Proiectul este dezvoltat de Canonical cu participarea angaja\u021bilor de la Microsoft \u0219i Deutsche Telekom. Codul proiectului este scris \u00een limbajele Python \u0219i C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv3.      <\/p>\n<p>Func\u021bia netplan const\u0103 \u00een citirea set\u0103rilor de re\u021bea din fi\u0219ierele &#171;\/{lib,etc,run}\/netplan\/*.yaml&#187; \u00een timpul procesului de pornire \u0219i \u00eenregistrarea configura\u021biei \u00een directorul \/run \u00eentr-un format adecvat pentru procesare ulterioar\u0103 \u00een systemd-networkd sau NetworkManager. Toat\u0103 configura\u021bia este p\u0103strat\u0103 doar \u00een fi\u0219ierul YAML original, f\u0103r\u0103 a utiliza &#171;\/etc\/network\/interfaces&#187;, fiind permis\u0103 divizarea configura\u021biei \u00een mai multe fi\u0219iere, de exemplu, pentru a muta set\u0103rile libvirt \u0219i lxd \u00een fi\u0219iere separate.
