Vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bile sunt prezente \u00een func\u021biile execute_filter_audio (CVE-2024-48957) \u0219i execute_filter_delta (CVE-2024-48958) \u0219i sunt cauzate de lipsa verific\u0103rii faptului c\u0103 blocul «src» poate suprapune blocul «dst» \u00een arhivele corupte. <\/p>\n

Vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bile au fost remediate \u00een versiunea Libarchive 3.7.5, care a corectat \u0219i mai mult de zece erori care duceau la dep\u0103\u0219irea limitelor tamponului, accesarea memoriei deja eliberate sau la suprasarcini de tip \u00eentreg \u00een timpul proces\u0103rii fi\u0219ierelor \u00een formatele cpio, lzop, rpm, zip, uu \u0219i rar. Corec\u021biile sunt marcate ca probleme de securitate, dar f\u0103r\u0103 a primi identificatori CVE. Deocamdat\u0103, nu este clar dac\u0103 aceste probleme pot fi exploatate pentru a permite execu\u021bia de cod atunci c\u00e2nd se proceseaz\u0103 fi\u0219iere special concepute. <\/p>\n

Libarchive este folosit ca o dependen\u021b\u0103 \u00een multe pachete populare, de exemplu, \u00een smbclient, flatpak, appstream, libappimage, dpdk, cmake, rpm, nix, pacman, elfutils, unrar, claws-mail, ark, epiphany, evince, vagrant, vlc, mpv, gvfs, fwupd, systemd (op\u021bional) \u0219i file-roller (manager de arhive \u00een GNOME).
