Proiectul este orientat spre aranjarea feroneriilor \u00eentr-o manier\u0103 mozaicat\u0103 (tiling), dar suport\u0103 \u0219i dispunerea clasic\u0103 a feroneriilor, gruparea acestora sub form\u0103 de tab-uri, modul pseudo-mozaic \u0219i maximizarea feroneriilor \u00een \u00eentregul ecran. Sunt oferite op\u021biuni pentru crearea de interfe\u021be vizual atr\u0103g\u0103toare: degradeuri \u00een cadrul feroneriilor, estomparea fundalului, efecte de anima\u021bie \u0219i umbre. Func\u021bionalitatea poate fi extins\u0103 prin intermediul plugin-urilor, iar pentru controlul extern al func\u021bion\u0103rii se ofer\u0103 IPC bazat pe socket-uri. Codul este scris \u00een limbajul C++ \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba BSD.    <\/p>\n<p> Configurarea se realizeaz\u0103 printr-un fi\u0219ier de configurare, modific\u0103rile din acesta fiind preluate instantaneu f\u0103r\u0103 a necesita repornirea. Pentru a cre\u0219te performan\u021ba jocurilor, exist\u0103 op\u021biunea de a dezactiva sincronizarea vertical\u0103 (VSync) cu un impuls de reducere a cadrelor, aplicat\u0103 pentru a preveni apari\u021bia rupturilor la redare (tearing). Alte func\u021bii includ: birouri virtuale create dinamic; moduri de compunere a elementelor pe ecran; procesarea global\u0103 a tastei rapide; control prin gesturi pe touchpad\/ecran tactil.    <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen noua versiune:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen locul parametrului &#171;cursor:dumb_copy&#187; a fost propus\u0103 o nou\u0103 setare &#171;cursor:use_cpu_buffer&#187;, care permite utilizarea cursorilor hardware pe sisteme cu pl\u0103ci grafice NVIDIA.\n<li class=\"l\"> Logica de stabilire a regulilor pentru feronerie \u0219i layout-uri ecran a fost modificat\u0103 \u2014 pentru ca o regul\u0103 s\u0103 se activeze acum este necesar\u0103 o potrivire complet\u0103 \u0219i nu par\u021bial\u0103 cu expresia regulat\u0103. A fost optimizat codul de procesare a regulilor. A fost activat un motor de expresii regulate RE2 de la Google, mai rapid.\n<li class=\"l\"> Bibliotecile hyprgraphics \u0219i re2 au fost ad\u0103ugate \u00een lista dependen\u021belor.\n<li class=\"l\"> Pentru procesarea culorilor a fost utilizat\u0103 spa\u021biul color OkLab \u00een loc de sRGB, ceea ce a permis ob\u021binerea unei afi\u0219\u0103ri mai naturale a degradeurilor \u0219i tranzi\u021biilor de culoare.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 suport pentru mutarea con\u021binutului \u00eentre medii Wayland \u0219i X11 (bazat pe XWayland) \u00een modul Drag&amp;Drop.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat un nou ecran de \u00eent\u00e2mpinare, care este afi\u0219at dup\u0103 actualizarea versiunii Hyprland.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 setarea &#171;cursor:warp_back_after_non_mouse_input&#187; pentru a evita problemele \u00een timpul utiliz\u0103rii simultane a mouse-ului \u0219i a ecranului tactil.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen utilitarul hyprctl a fost implementat\u0103 posibilitatea de a lista pluginurile \u00een format JSON (&#171;hyprctl -j plugins&#187;).
