A fost lansat\u0103 versiunea Siduction 2024.1, o distribu\u021bie Linux orientat\u0103 spre desktop, bazat\u0103 pe pachetul Debian Sid (instabil). Distribu\u021bia Siduction s-a desprins \u00een 2011 de proiectul Aptosid din dorin\u021ba de a oferi versiuni noi de KDE din depozitul experimental Qt-KDE. La r\u00e2ndul s\u0103u, Aptosid s-a separat \u00een 2010 de distribu\u021bia Sidux din cauza conflictului dintre dezvoltatori. Sunt disponibile pentru desc\u0103rcare versiuni bazate pe KDE (3.5 Go), Xfce (2.7 Go) \u0219i LXQt (3 Go), precum \u0219i o versiune minimal\u0103 \u201enoX\u201d (1 Go) \u0219i o versiune Xorg (2 Go) pentru utilizatorii care doresc s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i configureze singuri mediul de lucru. Versiunile Siduction 2024.1 cu GNOME, Cinnamon \u0219i MATE nu au fost formate din cauza absen\u021bei sus\u021binerii (aceste medii pot fi instalate din depozit). <\/p>\n

\u00cen noua versiune, pachetul a fost sincronizat cu repositoriul Debian Unstable. Au fost actualizate versiunile nucleului Linux 6.12, managerului de sistem systemd 257 \u0219i instalatorului Calamares. Din mediile desktop sunt oferite KDE Plasma 6.2 cu utilizarea implicit\u0103 a Wayland (\u00een versiunea anterioar\u0103 a fost folosit\u0103 ramura KDE 5), LXQt 2.1 \u0219i Xfce 4.20. A fost extins suportul pentru sistemul de fi\u0219iere Btrfs, pentru gestionarea instantaneelor fiind inclus\u0103 utilitarul Snapper, folosit \u00een SUSE Linux.
