Pentru a efectua un atac folosind unele dintre acestea, este suficient\u0103 o conexiune anonim\u0103 la serverul Rsync cu acces la citire.<\/p>\n<p>Vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bi corectate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CVE-2024-12084<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 scriere \u00een afara buffer-ului alocat prin transmiterea unei sume de verificare incorecte, ale c\u0103rei dimensiuni dep\u0103\u0219esc 16 octe\u021bi.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CVE-2024-12085<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 scurgerea con\u021binutului datelor neini\u021bializate din stiv\u0103 (c\u00e2te un octet de fiecare dat\u0103) \u00een timpul opera\u021biunilor de comparare a sumelor de verificare de dimensiuni incorecte.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CVE-2024-12086<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 ob\u021binerea accesului serverului la con\u021binutul unor fi\u0219iere arbitrare din sistemul clientului prin generarea de c\u0103tre server a unor tokenuri de comunica\u021bie incorecte \u0219i a sumelor de verificare \u00een timpul copiei fi\u0219ierelor de la client la server (determinarea con\u021binutului octet cu octet prin for\u021barea sumei de verificare).<\/li>\n<li><strong>CVE-2024-12087<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 ie\u0219irea din directorul de baz\u0103 c\u00e2nd se folose\u0219te op\u021biunea \u2014inc-recursive (activat\u0103 implicit pentru multe flag-uri). Vulnerabilitatea este cauzat\u0103 de lipsa unei verific\u0103ri adecvate a leg\u0103turilor simbolice \u0219i permite scrierea de fi\u0219iere \u00een afara directorului \u021bint\u0103 specificat de client. Un server controlat de atacator poate folosi vulnerabilitatea pentru a ataca sistemul clientului conectat.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CVE-2024-12088<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 verificarea incorect\u0103 a leg\u0103turilor simbolice care indic\u0103 alte leg\u0103turi simbolice, atunci c\u00e2nd se folose\u0219te op\u021biunea \u2014safe-links.
