Construirea se realizeaz\u0103 cu ajutorul compilerului Clang. Imaginile Live de boot sunt create pentru arhitecturile x86_64, ppc64le, aarch64, riscv64 \u0219i ppc64 \u00een variante cu GNOME (1,5 GB), KDE (2,1 GB) \u0219i un mediu redus (806 MB).        <\/p>\n<p>Proiectul \u00ee\u0219i propune s\u0103 creeze o distribu\u021bie Linux cu un set alternativ de unelte \u0219i se dezvolt\u0103 pe baza experien\u021bei de dezvoltare a Void Linux (autorul Chimera fiind un fost \u00eentre\u021bin\u0103tor al Void, responsabil pentru arhitecturile POWER \u0219i PowerPC). La fel ca Void Linux, proiectul se desf\u0103\u0219oar\u0103 folosind un ciclu continuu de actualizare a versiunilor de software (model rolling). Componenta utilizat\u0103 din FreeBSD a fost aleas\u0103 ca fiind mai pu\u021bin complicat\u0103 \u0219i mai potrivit\u0103 pentru sisteme u\u0219oare \u0219i compacte dec\u00e2t setul standard de unelte GNU.     <\/p>\n<p>Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 utilitarele din FreeBSD, care sunt livrate \u00een locul unor pachete precum coreutils, findutils, diffutils, sed \u0219i grep, \u00een distribu\u021bie sunt folosite GNU Make, util-linux, syslog-ng, udev, pam, dinit, clang, lld, libc++ \u0219i musl. Func\u021biile de alocare a memoriei din musl sunt \u00eenlocuite cu mimalloc. Ca sistem de fi\u0219iere, se utilizeaz\u0103 ZFS. Parti\u021bia \/var nu \u00ee\u0219i p\u0103streaz\u0103 starea \u00eentre reporniri (stateless). Pentru gestionarea fluxurilor multimedia se folose\u0219te PipeWire. \u00cen medii grafice, se utilizeaz\u0103 implicit Wayland.     <\/p>\n<p>Pentru instalarea de programe suplimentare se propun at\u00e2t pachete binare, c\u00e2t \u0219i un sistem propriu de compilare din cod surs\u0103 \u2014 cports, scris \u00een Python. \u00cen prezent, exist\u0103 peste 4000 de porturi disponibile. Mediul de compilare se lanseaz\u0103 \u00eentr-un container neprivilegiat, creat cu ajutorul instrumentului bubblewrap. Pentru gestionarea pachetelor binare se folose\u0219te managerul de pachete APK (Alpine Package Keeper, apk-tools), iar ca op\u021biune poate fi utilizat Flatpak.      <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen noua versiune:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Instrumentele de gestionare a pachetelor apk-tools au fost actualizate. Aceast\u0103 actualizare a permis mutarea unei p\u0103r\u021bi mari din fi\u0219ierele de sistem \u00een parti\u021bia \/usr \u0219i a realizat posibilitatea schimb\u0103rii oglinzii f\u0103r\u0103 a rescrie set\u0103rile repository-ului.\n<li class=\"l\"> Set\u0103rile repository-ului au fost migrate la un nou stil de numire a indicilor.\n<li class=\"l\"> Kernelul Linux a fost actualizat la versiunea 6.13. Mediile utilizatorului GNOME \u0219i KDE au fost actualizate la cele mai recente versiuni.\n<li class=\"l\"> Performan\u021ba \u00een modul Live a fost \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit\u0103.\n<li class=\"l\"> Au fost asigurate livr\u0103rile pentru sistemele 32-bit PowerPC.
