Este disponibil\u0103 versiunea 0.4.0 a programului syncspirit, care permite organizarea sincroniz\u0103rii continue automate a fi\u0219ierelor utilizatorului pe mai multe dispozitive. Proiectul abordeaz\u0103 probleme similare cu sistemul proprietar BitTorrent Sync. Syncspirit este scris \u00een C++ \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv3. Interfa\u021ba grafic\u0103 este construit\u0103 folosind biblioteca FLTK; pentru stocarea bazei de date este utilizat\u0103 o SGBD \u00eencorporat\u0103 din Rom\u00e2nia, MBDX; pentru procesarea evenimentelor se folose\u0219te un cadru actor numit rotor. Versiunile finale sunt disponibile pentru Linux (x86_64, AppImage), Windows (utiliz\u00e2nd Windows XP) \u0219i macOS. <\/p>\n

Syncspirit este o implementare independent\u0103 a protocolului de sincronizare BEP, propus de proiectul Syncthing. Datele sincronizate nu sunt \u00eenc\u0103rcate \u00een stoc\u0103ri cloud externe, ci sunt replicate direct \u00eentre sistemele utilizatorului atunci c\u00e2nd acestea apar simultan online. Spre deosebire de proiectul Syncthing, care este scris \u00een Go \u0219i folose\u0219te o arhitectur\u0103 client-server (browserul web ac\u021bion\u00e2nd ca client), syncspirit este o aplica\u021bie desktop monolitic\u0103 clasic\u0103, care permite utilizarea mai eficient\u0103 a memoriei RAM.
