Dezvoltatorii proiectului Raspberry Pi au prezentat instrumentul rpi-image-gen, destinat simplific\u0103rii gener\u0103rii de imagini sistem pentru pl\u0103cile Raspberry Pi. Printre avantajele instrumentului se num\u0103r\u0103: construc\u021bia rapid\u0103 prin utilizarea pachetelor binare gata f\u0103cute; utilizarea versiunilor identice de biblioteci \u0219i aplica\u021bii ca cele din Raspberry Pi OS; posibilitatea de a configura liber partajarea \u0219i de a utiliza criptarea FS; suport pentru generarea listei de pachete utilizate \u0219i verificarea absen\u021bei versiunilor vulnerabile ale programelor. Codul este scris \u00een Shell \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba BSD. <\/p>\n

Instrumentarul rpi-image-gen se diferen\u021biaz\u0103 conceptual de utilitarele anterioare pi-gen, care erau destinate preg\u0103tirii variantelor de distribuitor pentru Raspberry Pi OS. \u00cen rpi-image-gen, sistemul este format folosind conceptul de \u201ecolec\u021bii\u201d (exemple), care sunt select\u0103ri de fi\u0219iere YAML ce con\u021bin liste de pachete de instalat \u0219i metadate care definesc opera\u021biile de efectuat.
