Aceast\u0103 versiune este marcat\u0103 ca av\u00e2nd un nivel de calitate de versiune alfa preliminar\u0103, nefiind destinat\u0103 utiliz\u0103rii zilnice. Pachetele sunt preg\u0103tite \u00een format Flatpak (deocamdat\u0103 este disponibil doar arhiva cu codul).           <\/p>\n<p>Ramura Pidgin 3 este \u00een dezvoltare din 2011, iar \u00eenainte de aceasta, a fost discutat\u0103 timp de \u00eenc\u0103 trei ani la nivel de concepte \u0219i idei. \u00cen Pidgin 3 a avut loc tranzi\u021bia la sistemul de tipuri GObject, biblioteca GTK4 \u0219i Adwaita, sistemul de construire Meson, GPlugin pentru gestionarea pluginurilor, SQLite pentru stocarea istoricului chat-urilor \u0219i GSettings pentru gestionarea set\u0103rilor. API-ul a fost complet reproiectat. Pentru definirea elementelor interfe\u021bei a fost utilizat GTK Builder XML, iar pentru afi\u0219area istoricului chat-urilor a fost creat\u0103 o bibliotec\u0103 proprie de widget-uri Talkatu.        <\/p>\n<p>Interfa\u021ba a integrat \u00eentr-un singur tab list\u0103 de contacte \u0219i chat. Furnizarea clientului de consol\u0103 Finch a fost oprit\u0103 (nu este exclus s\u0103 fie readus \u00een viitor). Din protocoale este sus\u021binut deocamdat\u0103 doar IRCv3, iar protocoalele XMPP \u0219i Bonjour sunt \u00een dezvoltare, av\u00e2nd \u00een prezent suport par\u021bial. Ramura Pidgin 3 nu este compatibil\u0103 cu Pidgin 2 \u0219i pluginurile create anterior, dar poate fi instalat\u0103 paralel cu versiunile existente de Pidgin 2.      <\/p>\n<p>Printre schimb\u0103rile din actualizarea prezentat\u0103 se num\u0103r\u0103:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> La sortarea listei de participan\u021bi, acum se iau \u00een considerare permisiunile.
