A fost publicat codul instrumentarului openHalo, care ofer\u0103 un intermediar pentru simplificarea migr\u0103rii aplica\u021biilor scrise ini\u021bial pentru MySQL c\u0103tre utilizarea SGBD PostgreSQL. Proiectul este realizat sub forma unui proxy, care transform\u0103 transparent cererile de la MySQL \u00een cereri pentru PostgreSQL \u0219i efectueaz\u0103 conversia invers\u0103 pentru r\u0103spunsuri. Proiectul este scris \u00een limbajul C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv3. <\/p>\n

openHalo suport\u0103 dialectul SQL \u0219i protocolul de comunica\u021bie MySQL, ceea ce permite migrarea aplica\u021biilor scrise pentru MySQL c\u0103tre PostgreSQL cu modific\u0103ri minime sau f\u0103r\u0103 modific\u0103ri ale codului. \u00cempreun\u0103 cu openHalo pot fi utilizate utilitare standard, comenzi \u0219i drivere MySQL.
