Dezvoltatorii repository-ului de pachete Python PyPI (Python Package Index) au raportat o problem\u0103 de securitate \u00een implementarea func\u021biei \u201eOrganization Team\u201d, care permite formarea unei echipe din mai mul\u021bi dezvoltatori care colaboreaz\u0103 la un proiect \u00een PyPI. Problema const\u0103 \u00een faptul c\u0103 privilegiile delegate unui utilizator ca membru al \u201eOrganization Team\u201d r\u0103m\u00e2neau active chiar \u0219i dup\u0103 ce utilizatorul era eliminat din organiza\u021bie. Vulnerabilitatea din PyPI a fost corectat\u0103 la dou\u0103 ore dup\u0103 raportarea problemei. Auditul efectuat nu a identificat ac\u021biuni neautorizate legate de utilizarea drepturilor de acces nerevocate. <\/p>\n

Dezvoltatorii repository-ului crates.io, prin care sunt distribuite pachetele \u00een limbajul Rust, au raportat \u0219i ei un incident de securitate. \u00cen infrastructura crates.io, \u00een cazul \u00een care apar erori pe partea de backend, informa\u021biile despre solicit\u0103rile procesate \u00een momentul apari\u021biei problemei sunt trimise c\u0103tre serviciul de monitorizare Sentry. Problema const\u0103 \u00een faptul c\u0103, printre datele trimise, se g\u0103sea un c\u00e2mp cu con\u021binutul Cookie \u201ecargo_session\u201d, \u00een care se afla cheia de sesiune ce identific\u0103 utilizatorul. O persoan\u0103 extern\u0103, ob\u021bin\u00e2nd aceast\u0103 cheie, ar putea efectua orice ac\u021biuni \u00een sesiunea utilizatorului nefinalizat\u0103. <\/p>\n

Se observ\u0103 c\u0103 accesul la server<\/a> monitorizarea Sentry avea doar c\u00e2\u021biva membri ai echipelor care \u00eentre\u021bin infrastructura proiectului \u0219i repositoarul crates.io, care deja aveau acces privilegiate la serverele de lucru crates.io. Nu s-au g\u0103sit dovezi c\u0103 cheile de sesiune care au r\u0103mas \u00een jurnale ar fi fost folosite de cineva. Dup\u0103 remedierea problemei, aceste Cookie-uri au fost \u0219terse din toate \u00eenregistr\u0103rile de evenimente \u00een Sentry, iar sesiunile active ale utilizatorilor asociate cu acestea au fost \u00eencheiate.
