Versiuni sunt disponibile pentru arhitecturile x86_64, ARM64, s390x \u0219i PowerPC. Lansarea este planificat\u0103 pentru octombrie 2025.    <\/p>\n<p>Caracteristici principale ale openSUSE Leap 16:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Un nou installer Agama a fost utilizat, remarcabil prin separarea interfe\u021bei utilizatorului de componentele interne YaST \u0219i prin oferirea unui frontend pentru gestionarea instal\u0103rii prin intermediul unei interfe\u021be web.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen locul stivei tradi\u021bionale YaST pentru gestionarea sistemului, este utilizat pachetul Cockpit, iar \u00een locul YaST Software GUI este propus Myrlyn.\n<li class=\"l\"> Implicit, este activat\u0103 sistemul de control de acces mandatoriu SELinux. Suportul pentru AppArmor a fost p\u0103strat ca op\u021biune.\n<li class=\"l\"> S-a decis furnizarea doar a sesiunilor grafice bazate pe Wayland (componentele X.org r\u0103m\u00e2n \u00een continuare separate).\n<li class=\"l\"> Suportul pentru sistemul de ini\u021bializare SysV a fost oprit. Este permis\u0103 utilizarea doar a systemd.\n<li class=\"l\"> Suportul pentru arhitectura x86-64-v1 a fost oprit. Func\u021bionarea este posibil\u0103 doar pe sistemele x86 cu arhitectura x86_64-v2, care este suportat\u0103 de procesoare \u00eencep\u00e2nd din 2009 (\u00eencep\u00e2nd cu Intel Nehalem) \u0219i se deosebe\u0219te prin prezen\u021ba unor extensii cum ar fi SSE3, SSE4_2, SSSE3, POPCNT, LAHF-SAHF \u0219i CMPXCHG16B.\n<li class=\"l\"> Versiunile au fost actualizate: nucleul Linux 6.12, GNOME 48, KDE Plasma 6.3.4, AppArmor 4.1, GIMP 3.0, Cockpit 334.1.\n<li class=\"l\"> Pentru gestionarea repositoarelor este utilizat un serviciu bazat pe protocolul RIS (Repository Index Service). Pentru a reduce dimensiunea metadatelor, repositoarele sunt separate pentru fiecare arhitectur\u0103 suportat\u0103.
