Dup\u0103 un an de dezvoltare, a fost lansat\u0103 versiunea 7.96 a scanner-ului de securitate a re\u021belei Nmap, destinat auditului re\u021belei \u0219i identific\u0103rii serviciilor de re\u021bea active. Codul proiectului este disponibil sub licen\u021ba NPSL (Nmap Public Source License), bazat\u0103 pe licen\u021ba GPLv2, care este completat\u0103 cu recomand\u0103ri (nu cerin\u021be) pentru utilizarea programului de licen\u021biere OEM \u0219i achizi\u021bionarea unei licen\u021be comerciale, \u00een cazul \u00een care produc\u0103torul nu dore\u0219te s\u0103 fac\u0103 public codul produsului s\u0103u conform cerin\u021belor licen\u021bei copyleft sau inten\u021bioneaz\u0103 s\u0103 integreze Nmap \u00een produse incompatibile cu GPL. <\/p>\n
