Ca sistem de ini\u021bializare se utilizeaz\u0103 OpenRC, iar managementul pachetelor se face cu un manager de pachete propriu, apk. Alpine este folosit pentru a crea imagini oficiale de containere Docker \u0219i este utilizat \u00een proiectul PostmarketOS.
