Dezvoltatorii distribu\u021biei AlmaLinux au lansat o nou\u0103 versiune a instrumentului ELevate, care simplific\u0103 migrarea \u00eentre versiunile majore ale distribu\u021biilor bazate pe pachetul Red Hat Enterprise Linux, p\u0103str\u00e2nd aplica\u021biile, datele \u0219i set\u0103rile. Proiectul suport\u0103 migrarea \u00eentre ramurile majore AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux \u0219i CentOS Stream. <\/p>\n

Pentru migrare, se utilizeaz\u0103 utilitarul Leapp dezvoltat de compania Red Hat, care este completat cu patch-uri ce \u021bin cont de specificul CentOS \u0219i al altor distribu\u021bii bazate pe pachetul RHEL. Proiectul include, de asemenea, un set extins de metadate care descriu pa\u0219ii necesari pentru transferul pachetelor individuale de la o ramur\u0103 a distribu\u021biei la alta. <\/p>\n

Noua versiune include scripturi de actualizare de la AlmaLinux 9 la AlmaLinux 10.0, de la AlmaLinux 9 la AlmaLinux Kitten 10, precum \u0219i de la CentOS Stream 9 la CentOS Stream 10. La actualizare, este asigurat\u0103 suportul pentru depozitele externe EPEL, Docker CE \u0219i PostgreSQL.
