Interfa\u021ba utilizatorului este bazat\u0103 pe centrul media Kodi. Imaginile necesare pentru instalare sunt preg\u0103tite pentru a func\u021biona de pe un USB sau card SD (x86 pe 32 \u0219i 64 de bi\u021bi, Raspberry Pi 2\/3\/4\/5, diverse dispozitive cu cipuri Rockchip, Allwinner \u0219i Amlogic). Dimensiunea pachetului pentru arhitectura x86_64 este de 270 MB.    <\/p>\n<p>Cu ajutorul LibreELEC, orice computer poate fi transformat \u00eentr-un centru media, care se folose\u0219te la fel de u\u0219or ca un player DVD sau un decodor TV. Principiul de baz\u0103 al distribu\u021biei este \u201etotul func\u021bioneaz\u0103 simplu\u201d, iar pentru a ob\u021bine un mediu complet preg\u0103tit pentru utilizare, este suficient s\u0103 \u00eenc\u0103rca\u021bi LibreELEC de pe un dispozitiv Flash. Utilizatorul nu trebuie s\u0103 se \u00eengrijoreze de men\u021binerea sistemului actualizat - distribu\u021bia folose\u0219te un sistem de desc\u0103rcare automat\u0103 \u0219i instalare a actualiz\u0103rilor, activat la conectarea la re\u021beaua global\u0103. Exist\u0103 posibilitatea extinderii func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bii distribu\u021biei prin intermediul sistemului de addon-uri, care sunt instalate dintr-un depozit separat, dezvoltat de programatorii proiectului.       <\/p>\n<p>Distribu\u021bia nu folose\u0219te baza de pachete a altor distribu\u021bii \u0219i se bazeaz\u0103 pe dezvolt\u0103ri proprii. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bile standard Kodi, distribu\u021bia ofer\u0103 o serie de func\u021bii suplimentare, menite s\u0103 simplifice la maximum utilizarea.
