Dezvoltatorii openSUSE au anun\u021bat dezactivarea sistemului de fi\u0219iere BCacheFS din pachetele cu kernel Linux. Motivul invocat este acordarea statutului de suport extern acestei FS \u00een kernelul principal, ceea ce implic\u0103 \u00eencetarea accept\u0103rii modific\u0103rilor pentru Bcachefs \u00een compunerea principal\u0103 a kernelului, men\u021bin\u00e2nd aceast\u0103 FS \u00een baza de cod a kernelului. Dezvoltatorii openSUSE nu au inten\u021bia de a backporta patch-urile din ramura kernelului proiectului BCacheFS \u00een pachetul distribuit cu kernelul. <\/p>\n

Dezactivarea va avea loc \u00een pachetele cu kernel \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu versiunea 6.17, \u00een care statutul BCacheFS a fost modificat. \u00cen pachetele cu kernel 6.16, suportul va fi men\u021binut. Pentru cei care au nevoie de BCacheFS, se recomand\u0103 utilizarea instruc\u021biunii pentru recompilarea versiunii kernelului cu patch-urile de la dezvoltatorii BCacheFS. Odat\u0103 cu modificarea statutului BCacheFS \u00een kernelul principal, suportul pentru aceast\u0103 FS \u00een openSUSE va fi reluat.
