Aceast\u0103 versiune este marcat\u0103 ca av\u00e2nd un nivel de calitate de pre-alfa, nefiind destinat\u0103 utiliz\u0103rii zilnice. Versiunile sunt disponibile \u00een format Flatpak (p\u00e2n\u0103 acum, doar un arhiv\u0103 cu codul surs\u0103 este disponibil\u0103).         <\/p>\n<p>Ramura Pidgin 3 este dezvoltat\u0103 din 2011, iar \u00eenainte de aceasta a fost discutat\u0103 timp de \u00eenc\u0103 trei ani la nivel de concepte \u0219i idei. \u00cen Pidgin 3 s-a realizat tranzi\u021bia la sistemul de tipuri GObject, la bibliotecile GTK4 \u0219i Adwaita, la sistemul de build Meson, GPlugin pentru gestionarea pluginurilor, SQLite pentru stocarea istoricului conversa\u021biilor \u0219i GSettings pentru gestionarea set\u0103rilor. API-ul a fost complet ref\u0103cut. Elementele interfe\u021bei sunt definite folosind GTK Builder XML, iar pentru afi\u0219area istoricului conversa\u021biilor a fost creat\u0103 o bibliotec\u0103 personalizat\u0103 de widget-uri, Talkatu.        <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen interfa\u021ba Pidgin 3, lista de contacte \u0219i chat-ul sunt combinate \u00eentr-o singur\u0103 fereastr\u0103. Furnizarea clientului de consol\u0103 Finch a fost oprit\u0103 (nu este exclus s\u0103 fie readus \u00een viitor). Printre protocoale, momentan este suportat doar IRCv3, iar noi implement\u0103ri ale protocoalelor XMPP, SIP \u0219i Bonjour sunt \u00een dezvoltare, acestea fiind \u00eens\u0103 suportate par\u021bial. Ramura Pidgin 3 nu este compatibil\u0103 cu Pidgin 2 \u0219i plugin-urile create anterior, dar poate fi instalat\u0103 paralel cu versiunile existente de Pidgin 2.      <\/p>\n<p>Printre modific\u0103rile din versiunea de testare prezentat\u0103:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost implementat\u0103 o concept de backend pentru stocarea permanent\u0103 a datelor, precum istoricul conversa\u021biilor \u0219i chat-urile active. Este disponibil un backend bazat pe SQLite.\n<li class=\"l\"> La \u00eenchiderea aplica\u021biei, toate chat-urile deschise sunt salvate automat, f\u0103r\u0103 a fi necesar s\u0103 ad\u0103uga\u021bi manual canalul \u00een lista de contacte \u0219i s\u0103 activa\u021bi reconectarea automat\u0103 la canal.
