Un grup de entuzia\u0219ti francezi a prezentat proiectul Open Printer, destinat cre\u0103rii unei imprimante cu jet de cerneal\u0103 colorat\u0103, av\u00e2nd hardware \u0219i software deschis. Dispozitivul este modular \u0219i este construit pe baza unor piese de schimb standardizate. Imprimanta poate fi asamblat\u0103 ca un kit \u0219i, dac\u0103 este necesar, poate fi modernizat\u0103, \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit\u0103 sau reparat\u0103 de utilizator. Imprimanta poate utiliza cartu\u0219e HP 63 (SUA) \u0219i HP 302 (Europa), f\u0103r\u0103 DRM, leg\u0103turi cu produc\u0103torul \u0219i restric\u021bii la reumplere. Este permis\u0103 instalarea unui cartu\u0219 negru sau a unui cartu\u0219 colorat, precum \u0219i utilizarea ambelor cartu\u0219e (negru + colorat). Se suport\u0103 imprimarea at\u00e2t pe h\u00e2rtie de rol\u0103 de 27 mm, c\u00e2t \u0219i pe foi separate A4 \u0219i A3. \u00cen modul alb-negru, se realizeaz\u0103 o imprimare cu o rezolu\u021bie de 600 dpi, iar \u00een modul color - 1200 dpi. <\/p>\n

Pentru a controla func\u021bionarea dispozitivului, este utilizat\u0103 o plac\u0103 Raspberry Pi Zero W cu ie\u0219ire pe un ecran TFT de 1,47 inch (172 x 320) \u0219i comutarea modurilor printr-un buton-rol\u0103 de navigare (Jogger wheel). Un microcontroler STM32 este folosit pentru a gestiona cartu\u0219ul.
