Codul proiectului este scris \u00een limbajul C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv2. CRIU este utilizat \u00een sisteme de gestionare a containerelor, cum ar fi OpenVZ, LXC\/LXD \u0219i Docker.
