\u00cen baza de cod Firefox, pe care se va forma versiunea Firefox 147 pe 13 ianuarie, au fost efectuate modific\u0103ri care transpun browserul pentru a utiliza \u00een mod implicit directorul \u00ab~\/ .config \/ mozilla\u00bb pentru stocarea profilurilor, extensiilor, set\u0103rilor \u0219i bazelor de date interne pe sistemele de tip UNIX (memoria cache a fost deja mutat\u0103 anterior \u00een \u00ab~\/.cache\/mozilla\u00bb). Modificarea a fost realizat\u0103 pentru a conforma browserul specifica\u021biei Freedesktop.org XDG Base Directory (cererea de modificare a fost analizat\u0103 din 2004).
