Emulatorul ofer\u0103 o emulare de nivel sc\u0103zut precis\u0103 a sistemelor, \u00eencep\u00e2nd de la procesoare 8086 p\u00e2n\u0103 la Intel Celeron Mendocino. Codul proiectului este scris \u00een limbajul C \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv2.    <\/p>\n<p>Pentru gestionarea func\u021bion\u0103rii este oferit o interfa\u021b\u0103 grafic\u0103 cu op\u021biuni de configurare. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/vps\/\"   title=\"ma\u0219ini virtuale\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2250\">ma\u0219ini virtuale<\/a>. Este disponibil\u0103 emularea diverselor dispozitive periferice, precum adaptoare video, pl\u0103ci de sunet, pl\u0103ci de re\u021bea \u0219i controlere de discuri dure. Printre sistemele de operare suportate se num\u0103r\u0103: MS-DOS, Windows 3.11\/95, OS\/2, diverse distribu\u021bii Linux, BeOS, NEXTSTEP \u0219i alte sisteme de operare vechi.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Lansarea emulatorului 86Box 5.3\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/be36d07b8de0305c5eda4dd985e947f5.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>      <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen noua versiune:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Au fost realizate optimiz\u0103ri pentru cre\u0219terea performan\u021bei. Datorit\u0103 trecerii la o nou\u0103 bibliotec\u0103 runtime, performan\u021ba pe gazde cu Windows a fost \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit\u0103. Re-compilatorul dinamic a fost accelerat, fiind utilizat pe sisteme cu arhitectur\u0103 ARM \u0219i procesoare Apple Silicon. Prin utilizarea multi-threading-ului, performan\u021ba emul\u0103rii pl\u0103cilor video Voodoo, ATI Mach64 \u0219i S3 a crescut.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen emulatorul de unitate floppy, realismul sunetelor emise \u00een timpul utiliz\u0103rii dischetei a fost \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit, cum ar fi rota\u021bia arborelui \u0219i mi\u0219carea capetelor. Colec\u021bia de sunete de unit\u0103\u021bi a fost mutat\u0103 \u00eentr-un pachet separat.
